Our Story

Care and Comfort, LLC was born from a very personal journey. When my grandmother was diagnosed with dementia, our family made the decision to bring in-home care into her life so she could remain in the comfort of her own home. What we didn’t expect was how difficult it would be to find caregivers who were not only qualified, but truly compassionate.

I saw firsthand the fear, confusion, and vulnerability that families experience when trusting someone to care for the person they love most. I also saw how powerful the right caregiver can be — someone patient, gentle, and genuinely present.

That experience changed me.

I started Care and Comfort, LLC because I wanted families in San Jose and surrounding communities to have a better option — one built on empathy, dignity, and real understanding. We know how emotional this decision is because we’ve lived it ourselves.

Our mission is to provide the kind of care I would want for my own grandmother — consistent, respectful, and filled with compassion. Every client is treated like family, and every care plan is created with the understanding that this is more than a service — it’s someone’s life, someone’s parent, someone’s grandparent.
